What is Political branding?
Electoral branding is how the public perceives an individual or political organization. This concept is broader than the product, it is an intangible and psychological brand. A political brand includes the feelings, perceptions, associations, or images that the public has of a politician, political organization, or nation. Political branding helps a party or candidate to change or establish a reputation or support, to create a sense of identity with the party or candidate, and to build a relationship of trust between the political elite and the consumer (audience). Political branding helps political consumers to understand a party or a candidate faster and differentiate them from other competitors.
